COMMUNITY SERVICE

Our commitment to giving back goes beyond volunteering. What makes our community service program especially meaningful is that it’s driven by you. You identify and champion the causes that matter most to you and the communities we serve, helping shape the impact we make together. The company supports our staff’s financial contributions with a dollar-for-dollar match.

As we approach the end of the year, we encourage you to look for impactful volunteer opportunities coordinated by our Community Service team and save the date for these upcoming fall and holiday events.

October 8 | Foodbank of Northwest Indiana (point of contact: Kyle Simmons).

Mid-October | Adopt-A-Family signups for the holiday season will open in the Columbus design center. Shopping will take place in November, with wrapped gifts delivered to the family center in December (point of contact: Sam Ott).

October 22 | DREAM Alive Career Field Trip, hosted in Indianapolis (point of contact: Anitra Lewis).

November 5 | Keep Indianapolis Beautiful Site Cleanup with UI staff (point of contact: Marietta Yeoman-Griffith).

November 12 at 12pm ET | Seth Maxwell from The Thirst Project will visit our Indianapolis design center. Seth will be in the Grandview conference room for a presentation about The Thirst Project. A live stream option will be available.

Mid-November | DREAM Alive Christmas shopping event with scholars in Indianapolis (point of contact: Anitra Lewis).

Mid-November | Deadline for Holiday Mania donations.

Mid-November | The Merrillville design center will be sponsoring children and teens from the City of Lake Station Angel Tree. Signups will open soon and wrapped gifts need to be at the design center by early December (point of contact: Payton Sanders).

December 1 | DREAM Alive Christmas wrapping party at Indianapolis design center (point of contact: Anitra Lewis).

December 3 | Ugly sweaters/adult happy hour with Santa at the Indianapolis design center (point of contact: Marietta Yeoman-Griffith).

December 5 | Pictures with Santa hosted at the Indianapolis design center (point of contact: Anna Skelton).

December 7-9 (tentative) | Bake sale at Indianapolis design center.

December 7-13 | Holiday Mania fundraising event.

Mid-December | DREAM Alive Christmas event in Indianapolis.

Throughout December | Shopping/delivering gifts for children and the elderly.
